Abstract: The topic of this research is the impact of adult education on agricultural development. The study aimed to explore how adult education initiatives contribute to advancements in agricultural practices and productivity. The objectives were to assess the role of adult education in improving agricultural techniques, to evaluate its impact on agricultural productivity and innovation, and to identify successful educational strategies for promoting agricultural development. A survey research design was utilized to collect data from adult learners involved in agricultural education programs, as it facilitates a broad examination of educational impacts. A sample size of 260 participants engaged in agricultural education was selected to ensure comprehensive coverage. The purposive sampling technique was used to target individuals participating in agricultural training and development programs. The case study was focused on agricultural education initiatives in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. Findings revealed that adult education significantly contributed to agricultural development by improving farming techniques and increasing productivity. The study recommended expanding agricultural education programs and incorporating modern technologies to further support agricultural development.
